Time tested … North Perth shopping area isn’t very large but there are a number of shops that I visit there frequently. Like Istanbul Kitchen for their freshly made Turkish Bread and Hummus. And Evropa Continental Deli for their home style food.

Not to be confusing but Evropa is inside the North Perth Plaza Shopping Centre. With Istanbul Kitchen located just across the Road. Just had a look around the internet and there are a lot of people who think Evropa is in a different place. Nope, it’s just opposite Coles in the Plaza.
I’ve been a regular visitor to Evropa for years and the quality of the food has never varied. This is very good home style Italian food. Think Chicken Cotoletta with avocado and salad in a fresh ciabatta roll. Always minus the mayonnaise. Food this good doesn’t need the distraction.
My favourite take home is their Eggplant Parmigiana Stack. Crumbed baked eggplant, cheese, Neapolitan sauce layered one after the other. Garlic and EVOO to finish. Can’t resist purchasing one any time I’m in the area and from memory I think they’re around $8.00.
Xena can’t get past the eggplant, so she generally has a take away pasta of some sort. Bit the Bain Marie is brimming with Hot food and a combination plate is available.
On the weekends loads of people dine in and fill up the tables in the Arcade as well as inside. It’s a place for people to meet up and enjoy a coffee and a plate of delicious Italian food.
Evropa has a large selection of Italian Desserts, Cheeses, Ground Coffee, Dried Pastas and other Small Goods.
