A Coffee Experience … Have been to Cranked Cafe a number of times now. It’s located at the tail end of Oxford Street, opposite Kailis Fish Café.
The service, atmosphere and the coffee at Cranked Cafe are always really impressive. This place is up there amongst my favourites on the coffee front in Leederville.
It’s a great thing that they source produce locally and only serve seasonal foods. This environmentally conscious decision is a winner for me.
So, their Brunch menu always looks amazing. Definitely like the sound of their corn fritters and the salmon and potato cakes.
Sadly, we didn’t have time to try the food and opted for Coffee and a Biscotti. The cappuccino was authentic with the crema swirled through the foam. A little cocoa dusted on top. Delightful.
There is a great outdoor dining area and it’s very large but is a good spot for people watching on busy Oxford Street. The casual feel of the décor is also aesthetically pleasing.
Most noteworthy is the grassed area for children to play while adults sit outside and watch. Can’t emphasize enough how much of a good idea a playground is. It lets the adults relax a bit and it must be a major draw card. There’s also free WiFi, so it’s a good venue for a business meeting. So, there’s two great ideas.
