We felt privileged to have eaten some pretty memorable meals in 2015 and thought you might like to hear about them again. So here are our 20 Amazing Perth Meals 2015.
1. Neil Perry’s Rockpool, Burswood
Breaded Fried Chicken Burger in a Brioche Bun with Slaw and a tangy dressing. Best Burger Ever. review
2. La Cholita, Northbridge
Crumbed Prawn, Pickled Cabbage and Avocado Tacos on house made tortillas. Oh so good. review
3. Nao Japanese, Perth CBD
Chilli Infused Ramen is certainly something different. Adding a whole new flavour boost to Soups. Bliss in a bowl. review
4. Lucky Chan’s Laundry + Noodlebar, Northbridge
Chicken Karaage Bao Buns. Possibly one of the best things I’ve tasted in a long while. Warning: Addictive. review
5. Boulevard Hotel, Floreat
Wow. Renovations, a new Chef and Spring Vegetable Risotto. Beautiful food. review
6. Jamie’s Italian, Perth
Entree of Pan fried Gnocchi with Arrabbiata Sauce. In Memoriam, as sadly, it’s no longer on the Menu. review
7. Noodle Forum, Perth CBD
Best Laksa since Singapore. The noodles are made by hand in house. Kudos to Chef Erich Wong. review
8. A Fish Called Inglewood, Inglewood
Spaghettini with Seafood in a Caper and Olive Ragu. Something very special about this dish. review
9. Sayers Sister, Northbridge
Parmesan and Leak Croquettes, 2 Poached Eggs, Creamed Leeks, Spinach and Rocket. Yum. review
10. Tropico, North Beach
Another Wood Fired Pizza Margherita but absolutely brilliant. San Marzano tomatoes, Crispy Roman style Base. review
11. Finlay & Sons No 917, Inglewood
Goats Curd Baguette with Roasted Mushrooms. This dish took me by surprise, simple food, beautifully put together. Delicious. review
12. Meatball Bar, Mount Lawley
The twin to the Leederville Cafe. Really like their Teriyaki Chicken Balls with Edemame and Lychee. Brutally Good. review
13. Nasi Lemak Korner, Como
This up market Malaysian Restaurant blew me away with their Sambal Chicken Nasi Lemak. review
14. V Burger Bar, Floreat
Chicken and Coriander Patty in a Brioche Bun with salad and a Remoulade Sauce. Oh my, didn’t see that one coming. review
15. Royal India, West Perth
Their lunch time Vegetarian Thali not only tastes delish but is great value for money. review
16. Choux Cafe Patisserie, Swanbourne
Went to try their Eclairs and they were sold out. Instead we had a Chicken Pie and found a new favourite. review
17. Crown Metropol Lobby Lounge, Burswod
The choice on offer in the Lobby Lounge High Tea was pretty special. Scones, Sandwiches, Petit Fours. Brilliant. review
18. Low Key Chow House, Leederville
Tofu Bao Buns, with coriander, fresh chilli, peanuts and a thick syrupy, salty, sweet sauce. What more do you need. review
19. Soul Cocina Cantina, Street Food
We felt healthier just looking at this food. Best Street Tacos we’ve had for a while. review
20. Sandrino Cafe Pizzeria, Fremantle
A crispy Wood Fired Pizza Margherita on the Fremantle Cafe Strip. Yeah Baby. review
