Are you feeling Hot Hot Hot … We found ourselves ducking in and out of the shade on our way to the Court Hotel. Absolutely sizzling hot day in Perth and we were looking for air conditioning. Someone recommended we go and try the food at the Court Hotel, so off we went.

Breakfast in Bassendean … The buzz about Holly Raye’s is exciting, although we are a little late to the party. It’s a tiny café just off the strip but it is bustling. Obviously the word has been out for a while that the food is good. About time we paid a visit then.

Foodie Nirvana … The Twilight Hawkers Market in the City was the first market to catch my attention. I remember thinking that this was a huge thing. A collection of Food Trucks, Vans and Market Stalls all selling Street Food. Had I died and reached Nirvana? Well, not quite but almost.

Bakery and Butchery … Had heard good things about the Flour Factory so we decided to visit. Must say the building is really impressive and it is surrounded by impressive buildings. Queen Street architecture is actually really something. I haven’t walked down the street for a while and felt a renewed sense of old Perth.

Venue Extravaganza … I would recommend going to the Gordon St Garage just to check out the Building. It is up there amongst the top I’ve seen in Perth. Love, love, love the distressed, grunge, industrial style. With a touch of nostalgic 90’s graphic design.

Fiesta Revival … Seems Mochachos Chicken Fiesta Morley has had a change of ownership. If you have eaten there, even in the last six months, it is probably time to revisit. I remember having one meal there over a year ago that was utter chaos. The refried beans were not even mashed up, let alone refried. It was a truly dismal meal. Hadn’t been back there since.
