Stationary Dog … Street vendor Wassup Dog has a new Café in East Perth. Spotted them a couple of months ago now and decided it was time to stage a visit. They still have their travelling Carts, so look out for them at Food Markets.
Chicken Camembert Dawg
Nestled into Royal Street in the heart of the East Perth Café Strip this tiny café reeks of Street Cred. There are booths and bread crates and low tables and chairs. As well as Stools at the counter. Because it’s a small space seats are limited. I managed to snare a seat at the Counter by the Window, which had a nice view down Royal Street.
Was happy to see both a Chicken and a Vegetarian option amongst the Hot Dogs and MeatBalls on offer. It was also pretty hot that they offer Wholemeal Rolls, making this one guilt free Hot Dog.
Ordered the Chicken Dawg which came in a Wholemeal Roll with Sweet Chilli Relish, Camembert, Mixed Lettuce and Hand Cut Fries. Um, yes, perhaps not all guilt free.

Those Fries were salted nicely and the texture was pretty spot on. The Hot Dog was quite large and filled to the brim with salads, the camembert, relish and the Chicken and Basil organic, hand made sausage.
Can’t stress how fresh tasting the Chicken Dawg was , and a pleasure to eat. Will probably be visiting a lot from now on. This outlet at least is stationary and easy to find.
