Love Is The Drug For Me … And Arthouse Dine has so much to give. Love the new spacious venue, with its light, bright, crisp, clean décor and the visual traces of AGWA all around the place.
Well I guess that the venue sitting inside the Art Gallery helps with that. It’s a revamp that needed to happen and the result is fabulous.
Arthouse Dine has a new menu so I decided it was time to visit . The menu is very interesting, very fine dining but with reasonable prices. They have a lunch special of 3 courses including 2 glasses of wine for $55.00 per head. 3+2=1x$55pp.
Not being up to consuming a 3 course meal I opted for a plate of pasta and was not disappointed. Linguine with WA Scampi scattered through plus yellow and red cherry tomatoes and topped with pangrattato.
So, at $20.00 this was a great lunch and full of flavour and though the bowl looks small I could not finish it all. Shame on me.
Felt really happy sitting in this venue and absolutely loved my meal. I’m sure there will be a revisit as soon as Xena gets wind of this review.
Wow. Did not see this one coming. Arthouse Dine in the Art Gallery has closed. Their lease was not renewed and they have shut their doors after only a few months.
I’m particularly annoyed about this closure because Arthouse Dine was a breath of fresh air. It was stylish with touches of AGWA everywhere. Both the coffee and food were excellent.
Another business will be opening up in it’s place but Arthouse Dine did all the hard work first. Very unfair.
