Little B On Beaufort … Fairly new, frisky and decked out in scarlet red. These guys opened a few weeks ago and I was told it’s the sister café to Bangkok Brothers in Northbridge.
The menu is made up of Thai street food favourites and with nothing on the menu over $20 they had my attention straight away.
Some examples include, Satay, Thai Fish Cakes, various Noodle dishes, Ka Nom Jeeb and Look Chin Ping.
Decided to try the noodles and opted for a dish I’d not heard of before, Pad Mee See Eiw.
Those fried thin rice noodles weren’t really al dente but the flavours were pretty amazing. They’d included fermented soya beans, tamarind (pretty sure) and fish sauce.
So, I opted for the Tofu and Vegetables and there were loads of both on a very large plate of food. And, as usual I had to ask for a doggy bag because half way through I was done. Loved the sauce, tofu and veggies.
As cafes go Little B is a little small but the decor makes it look like a Thai Street food vendor. And the voluptuous signature red is luxe.
For me, it’s a nice addition to the little cluster of cafes in Beaux Lane.
