Like Dolphins Can Swim … RoyAl’s can make burgers. And, we’re talking proper old school burgers, shakes, fried chicken, Gringo fries, wraps and more.
Decided it was time to visit their new venue in Wembley as I had a craving for one of their burgers. And, curiosity about the new venue.
Was not disappointed and happy to see a sister mural to the Vic Park café. Nice bright colours, great stuff. Plus a large open kitchen.
Their menu is large with a range that starts with a long list of burgers, dallies with popcorn chicken and ends with a po’boy sandwich and chicken wings. Phew.
I chose a super food burger that came with mayo, mustard, tomato, pickle, onion and iceberg lettuce. And, a bonus slice of American cheese which had been nicely melted. Just to note, you can get the super food patty to replace the meat in any of their burgers.
So, back to the food and that burger. The patty’s main ingredient was pinto beans but I could see quinoa as well. It had good solid flavours and texture. A medium sized burger piled high with fresh ingredients.
Not sure you could ask for more.
