Can You Scope … Scope Café has been a stalwart member of the Floreat Forum community for eight years. And, the reason for that has to be the food.
I love walking into a place and finding something small and delicious in the display cabinet. Something that’s not on the menu and can be ready in the blink of an eye. Sometimes patience is not a virtue of mine.
In Scope’s case it was a corn and vegetable fritter topped with avocado, tomatoes and a dab of fresh salsa. Plus a bonus extra piece of fritter just for decoration. Let’s just say the plate of food presented very well. And, a swirl of balsamic reduction to boot. Yum.
Their brunch menu is fairly eclectic and I will return to try a meal and to scope out a favourite.
Love the murals and the rounded glass windows overlooking some greenery.
Oh, and my short macchiato was fabulous. Perth coffee can beat Melbourne any day.
