Spectacular Views … Henry’s Rooftop Bar is on the top floor of the Reveley complex in Elizabeth Quay. The three level complex has a café at ground level, a sophisticated restaurant in the middle and a funky rooftop bar which serves Bar Food. Oh, and that view is to die for. Asian Tapas … Heard through the grapevine that the Adelphi Grill at the Parmelia Hilton had had yet another revamp. The place has changed 3 times in the last few years. It now has a huge Bar with windows overlooking Mill Street. And, a pavement dining area with big umbrellas.

Small plates of Delicious Food … Went to the Village Bar by accident really as it was raining heavily and we were hungry. The staff were friendly and laughed when we came in, as we looked like drowned rats.

Dumplings and Cava … What I like about Bob’s Bar most is that it’s named after Bob Hawke. Not because I’m a fan but because if ever there was a larrikin that deserved a bar named after him it’s BH. The walls are lined with quotes from the man himself. “Any boss who sacks anyone for not turning up today is a bum.” Etc.
