Mambo Gelato … Ice cream makes me happy and gives me happy feet, i.e. I want to dance. Affogato is the dessert café of Spritz Spizzicheria Italiana and they sit side by side in Mount Hawthorn.

Same To You … Sama Sama Malay Thai opened it’s doors a short while ago. They have taken over the premises formerly occupied by Globe Coffee House on Beaufort Street and the coffee remains fabulous.

Avenues All Lined With Trees … Little Bird Café is in a lush part of Northbridge. Lake Street boasts some great foliage and bendy roads to stop speeding. I’d heard good things about Little Bird Burgers, so off we went.

Kefalograviera … Try saying that three times quickly. The big K is a hard table cheese made with either Goat or Sheep’s milk. It was new to me and the stand out ingredient in my rather cluttered plate of food from Fez Café.

A Little Foodie Haven …The long and the short of it is that Solstice make great food and coffee. It’s a grand looking place from the Street with all the greys, blacks and blues but it’s very comfy inside.

Just a Suburban Girl … The Little Banksia sits slap bang in the centre of Suburban South Perth. It looked so cute and cuddly that I just had to visit.

European Fish and Chips Bar … The Chippery and Co opened their doors in September and they haven’t looked back. They’re getting a lot of buzz in the media and it all appears to be good.

Should we be singing La Marseillaise? … The Partisan sits right next to Toast in East Perth. The interesting thing is that even though they are neighbours the view of the river is very different.
