Life Is A Cabaret … There was definitely a different vibe to this year’s event. Mt Hawthorn Streets & Lanes Festival has also grown since last year with Stalls extending into Oxford Street. And, a mini fun fair with rides at the edge of Axford Park.

A Flying Visit … Decided to put up a brief review of the Maylands Street Festival 2016. We had arrived late to the party but it was still in full swing at 5.00pm. There was food, entertainment and activities on offer on both sides of the Railway Tracks.

Foodie Nirvana … The Twilight Hawkers Market in the City was the first market to catch my attention. I remember thinking that this was a huge thing. A collection of Food Trucks, Vans and Market Stalls all selling Street Food. Had I died and reached Nirvana? Well, not quite but almost.

Beaufort is the new Black … The Inglewood on Beaufort Markets are something else. There is a real sense of community at these markets. A chance for Inglewood Foodies and invited Mobile Foodies to show their wares and share the love. The number of local cafes and restaurants selling samples of their food on the pavement is a good example of that community. They’re embracing the Food Trucks and letting locals know they’re there too.
