Fez Cafe, 83 Walcott Street, Mount Lawley, Phone 9328 9999.
Kefalograviera … Try saying that three times quickly. The big K is a hard table cheese made with either Goat or Sheep’s milk. It was new to me and the stand out ingredient in my rather cluttered plate of food from Fez Café.
Filos And Yiros, at Brika, 3 / 177 Stirling Street, Perth WA 6000, Phone 0455 321 321.
Déjà vu … Brika has opened a Hole in the Wall they’ve called Filos And Yiros. From this hatch they sell Greek Street Food like Spanakopita in Filo and Yiro sandwiches for lunch. The twist to their Yiros is the addition of hand-cut Chips.
Monte Fiore Cafe, 628 Beaufort Street, Mount Lawley WA 6050, Phone 9227 9898.
Mandatory Revisit … Monte Fiore is one of the oldest restaurants in Mount Lawley. Predominately home style Italian meals served to white table clothed tables with a pleasant view of bustling Beaufort Street.
Grill’d Mount Lawley, 669 Beaufort Street, Mount Lawley WA 6050, Phone 9271 9444.
Schnitzel Mania … We were taken by surprise by Grill’d’s new menu. Some of our favourites were M.I.A. so we had a minute’s silence for the loss of the Asian Chicken Sliders. The majority of items remained the same but there were new additions. And, they were exciting.
A Fish Called Inglewood, Unit 2 / 882 Beaufort Street, Inglewood Wa 6052, Phone 0403 652 531
A Special Opportunity … Have been a big fan of A Fish Called Inglewood since it opened. I’m guessing that was early 2014. We decided to revisit this week because of a very special offer of two courses for $25.00. Seemed rude to ignore that invitation.
