Loved the idea of their plans and was a big fan of their other venture, The Classroom Bar. We pledged our money for their crowd-funding and couldn’t wait to see what they had achieved.

Cheap and Tasty … When we were in the Broadway Shopping Centre the other day we noticed a small collection of Asian eateries and decided to go back and try one.

Return visit … On returning to Goreng2 we ordered the Pad Thai and Chicken Satay to take home. The staff were friendly and happy. The wait for food was not very long at all. Goreng2’s decor has a funky, cheerful vibe. Should be a win win all round. So, that leaves the food.

Healthy and Lush Soups … Always a pleasure to visit a new (to us) place. We used to go to this restaurant when it was called something else and hadn’t noticed it was now serving Vietnamese food and was called Phi-Yen.

Egg Noodle Soup … Hidden away among a swag of cafes is Tra Vinh William Street a quite little Vietnamese Café. Tra Vinh is also the name of the Capital City of the Tra Vinh district in Vietnam. A popular area on the Mekong Delta.

Wow, So Different … Can honestly say I’ve not tried food like this before. But, someone had mentioned that I had to go along to An’s Kitchen and try the noodles. Ans Kitchen specialise in food from the Shaanxi Province in China.

Traditional House Made Noodles … First heard about Noodle Forum through word of mouth. People who know me, know that Laksa is a passion of mine. So, at least four people pointed me in the direction of this café.

Dianella One Stop Asian Food … Dodo’s BBQ is housed in a not very alluring building. But it’s neat and clean. The Restaurant is situated in the car park of the Dianella Plaza Shopping Centre. On entering and looking over their menu we were kind of amazed at the variety of food on offer. This is a large menu with an assorted mix of Asian food. There’s Chinese, Malaysian, Thai, so much that it makes choosing difficult.
