The Cellar Door
There is a deck overlooking the brook where you can sit and eat. Their food is simple but great tasting. Think mixed platters with fruit, salads, cheese and hot nibbles. They also do a mean pate with crunchy bread. Or, crusty bread with EVOO and Balsamic. Picnic fare.
Jane Brook Estate Wines have a huge cellar door where you can sample the wines. And, purchase their wine as well as browse a unique selection of other goods.
They have an excellent range of sparkling wine. Two of their sparkling wines Elizabeth Jane and Plain Jane are definite palate pleasers for me. But their White Wines are also pretty special. Their Sauvignon Blanc for instance is a favourite of mine. On my budget though it is kept for special occasions only.
We visit Jane Brook Estate Wines every so often. It’s nice to try their lunch specials and catch up with their wine.
