Lazy Day, Sunday afternoon … Waterside at Little Creatures Brewery in Fremantle. We ventured into the Great Hall to try some food. The sun was shining and we could smell the sea. Hadn’t been to this place for years and was still impressed with the venue.

So, we shared a Wood Fired Pizza and Prawn Skewers. Twisting Xena’s arm to try something different, we ordered the Mushroom, Mozzarella and Olive Pizza. Which had a thin, crunchy crust, luscious Mozzarella, Kalamata Olives and loads of Mushrooms. It was a good combination and a good size to share.
The Prawn Skewers came with Romesco, which originated in Spain and was specifically created to go with Seafood. This version was quite tasty, though I wondered if it needed more salt. It went well with the Prawns, which were sweet and tender, not chewy thankfully. It was a big serve and we struggled to finish all the food.
The dessert menu looked interesting but we were just too full to consider even a gelato. That means we will have to make a return visit.
We had enough room to wash it all down with a pint of cider each. Sunday bliss. Can’t understand the bad reviews.
