Tak’E Sushi – Japanese Food – Sushi

Standard

Tak’E Sushi, Shop 14a, Dianella Plaza Shopping Centre, Corner Alexander Drive and Grand Promenade, Dianella WA 6059, Phone 9275 5882.

Hidden Treasure in Dianella … Have been going to Tak’E Sushi for five years now and haven’t had a bad meal. They are takeaway only, the place is teeny tiny and it pays to phone your order in. But, the staff are always friendly, the food is always fresh and tasty and if that means waiting, I wait.

They make their sushi fresh at the counter by the door, you can see the quality of the ingredients laid out before you. At the back of the shop you can see the chefs preparing the hot food.

Tak'E Sushi - Japanese Food

One of our regular meals – Teriyaki Chicken Don

Came away last night with a Chicken Katsu Curry Don, Vegetable Curry Don and a Karaage Chicken side dish. We all enjoyed the food a lot, and even remembered to take some pictures.

Their Vegetable Curry, which is part of the Chicken Katsu Curry Don, is delicious. Carrots and Potatoes in a creamy, not too hot, thick curry sauce. The curry goes really well with the Panko crumbed Katsu Chicken.

The Karaage Chicken side dish was interesting, first time trying chicken cooked this way. The chicken was melt in the mouth tender, well seasonsed and fried. Like little popcorn chicken pieces but better.

Tak'E Sushi

After all this time I’ve discovered that Tak’E do soups. So we ordered a soup we hadn’t tried before, the Kitsune Udon (Fried Beancurd). Lovely clear broth, with vegetables, udon and 4 good sized pieces of Beancurd. Excellent quality and taste.

Tak'E Sushi

A good thing to remember is that this shop is take away only. There are no seats in the shop to actually sit and eat. There are seats only for people waiting for food to go.

Oh, and my favourite Sushi is the vegetarian. Have splashed soya sauce over this lot and it still looks fab.
