Roti Canai … Great to catch up with Pauly Ks Kitchen at the 2015 Food Truck Rumble. We went early to avoid the crowds and managed to for a short while.
Malaysian Hawker Food
The queues were small when we arrived but numbers seemed to triple quite quickly. As a result queues for food became very lengthy and tempers frayed.
After a short wait at Pauly Ks we ordered a Roti Canai, flat bread with dahl. The dahl itself was excellent, thick and loaded with minutely diced vegetables. It also had quite a nice spice mix. Yum in every bite. The Roti Canai flatbread was multi layered, delicate and the texture was great. A little sweet for my taste but enjoyable.
Pauly Ks Kitchen is a regular at Park’d at Curtin University. Pauly K himself is a chef and is well known for serving up traditional Asian Hawker Food such as BBQ Pork Noodles, Hainanese Chicken Rice and Curry Puffs.
