Something New … Leaving the Cinema after watching Mockingjay 2 (awesome btw) we decided to hit the Food Hall. There were only a few places open because it was late. Then we noticed a vendor we hadn’t seen before, Arirang Korean Cuisine.
They had loaded all their food into discounted containers to finish off the day. We felt very happy to try their food at such cheap prices. Picked up a Honey Chicken, Rice and Noodles for me. While Xena went for the Bibimbap with Chilli Chicken, Rice and Salad. Both dishes had been discounted to $7.00 each.
My Honey Chicken was really tender and the sauce was subtle but Moorish. The noodles went really well with the chicken but not sure I needed the rice. It was a big serving of food and good value.
Xena’s Bibimbap and Chilli Chicken looked and tasted great. I harassed her for a sample and was pleasantly surprised. The owner of the place had told her to mix the salad in with the container of sauce and then into the rice. Which turned the dish into something very special. Yum. Would definitely have this dish again.
The owner was very pleasant and patiently waited while I took photos of the place. She asked us to let her know if we liked the food. The answer is a huge yes!!
Currently, Arirang Korean Cuisine have no Facebook or Twitter account. Seems word of mouth is working well for this Food Stall.
It’s good to know that there are now spicier options available at Galleria Food Court. Will keep Arirang in mind when I’m in the area for lunch.
