Cute Name … Sushi WAWA is right next to IKEA in Stirling. It’s a sushi Train Restaurant run by a couple of award winning Chefs. According to their Website, the Head Chef and Sous Chef have 23 years experience between them. They both like to be creative and put emphasis on flavour. They also source local and seasonal produce.

Not knowing any of that before I decided to eat at Sushi WAWA didn’t do me any harm. I purchased three unique looking plates of food from the Sushi Train. Happily consumed them, with help from Xena. And, went back to browsing at IKEA. I don’t purchase these days, I browse. Every purchase requires a lot of thought.
I was very impressed with the food though. Everything about the Restaurant screams clean and fresh. The décor is kind of boxy but fun and it works very well. Really like the mural on the back wall.
The square sushi was the first to catch my eye. It was Chicken Katsu. Really tender chicken with a great dressing.
Also tried Popcorn Prawns and Chicken Karaage. Not the healthiest of options but very tasty.
Really liked the taste of the Karaage and the crunch of the coating on the juicy prawns.
Xena opted for Chicken Ramen and let me try some noodles. Really good quality broth and noodles. A fine dish of food.
We had green tea, which was bottomless, for $3.00 and definitely a bargain. In fact the prices were very fair considering the quality of the food.
The staff were really helpful and friendly even though the Restaurant was very busy.
