Bayswater Streats, Crimea Street Reserve, Morley – Thursday Nights 5.00pm to 8.30pm.
Night Food Market on Crimea Reserve … The City of Bayswater Streats is working towards bringing multi cultural cuisine to local residents. They have achieved a lot in the short time they’ve been running. Thursday Nights at the Crimea Reserve see five or so Food Trucks assemble and attract large crowds of locals.
Xena and I decided to go along because there were a couple of new trucks that we wanted to try.
The trucks, vans and stalls set up in the car park overlooking the reserve. There is adequate lighting and room for visitor’s cars. Actually, it’s a great spot.
We headed straight for Ninja Cuisine and ordered a plate of Vegetable Gyoza.
They had small tables and chairs set out. Actually, every stall did. The Gyoza tasted like spring rolls, the vegetables were excellent and the crunch on the Gyoza skin was fab.
It was great to be back at a food market. We had been missing both the Twilight and Maylands Hawker Markets.
We couldn’t go past Porta Pizza and the pizza was delicious.
Saved the Wooden Box for last and purchased a Peanut Butter Oreo Slice with a Terrys Orange Chocolate Piece on top. Managed to nab a small piece before Xena demolished it. Awesome.
We ran out of room for What The Flip and Tikka Tango. Next time guys! And, next time will be this Sunday, 5th June 5.00pm to 8.30pm. There will be Nine Food Trucks, the biggest event they’ve tried so far.
November 2016 … City of Bayswater has dropped the name Bayswater Streats and this Food Truck gathering is now called The Crimea Carpark Canteen.
