Java Good Day … Sorry couldn’t resist the awful pun. Queens Birthday weekend and Nexus had queues of people lining up for their coffee. It was surprising to see so many people at this Hole In The Wall venue. Just because there’s not a lot of seating.
Teeny Cafe with Tiny Customers
It’s previously been noted that I’ve been to some teeny tiny cafes but Nexus Coffee Brewers would have to be the absolute teeniest.
There are small chairs and tables scattered on the pavement. Inside there are two tiny rooms with very limited seating. But did that deter the crowd? Nope.
Ordered a small cappuccino and a slice of Coconut Banana Bread.
All that buttery goodness
The Coconut Banana Bread was a good choice, it was moist and had loads of coconut and banana on board. Big fan of this dessert and was not disappointed. In fact, I could see myself revisiting soon to resample, just to make sure you know.
The cappuccino kind of got a little squished as I was taking photos, so the crema splashed elsewhere. That didn’t stop the flavours of this nice strong coffee. Still a positive experience.
It’s a small venue but obviously popular. Situated on Beaufort Street near Secondeli and The Red Cray. It wasn’t my first visit and it won’t be my last.
