Everything’s Gone Green … Whisk Creamery has opened a store in Northbridge. It’s occupying space at 246 William Street. Big fan of Whisk Subiaco so when I heard about Northbridge off we went.
And speaking of green, the whole place is sparkling clean and very green and white. There is even Matcha Ice Cream that kind of blends in with the surroundings.
They have a state of the art ordering system / payment station. Or, you can talk to a real person and pay in cash at the counter.
Was really happy to see that they have a two flavour cup for $4.90. Considering the cost of Soft Serve Gelato and Sorbet these days to find something under $5.00 is a nice surprise.
Opted for the Raspberry Gelato on top and Peanut Butter underneath. A great combination of flavours with the tart raspberries and the creamy nutty flavour. Yum.
For Xena it was a Taiyaki, a fish shaped cake with red bean paste inside and then topped with Green Tea Soft Serve. Finally it was speared with a fruit kebab drizzled with white chocolate. Xena loved it but for me it looked ginormous and a bit too much of a good thing. Yes, I’m a spoil sport.
