Shiny Happy People … This was my first thought on entering Yelo Trigg Beach. Everyone looked happy and a little bit shiny. Possibly something to do with the Sea air or the Sea view. Either way, looking at the food on offer made me pretty happy.
Sitting down after a hectic morning of gift shopping was bliss. We were tickled that a group of people were sitting watching surfing on the telly when the real thing was going on just outside the door.
But back to the food. I ordered a Tuna Patty with Salad $10.50 and for Xena it was the Bircher Muesli Cup at $7.50.
The Muesli was brimming with thinly sliced apple and we could taste cinnamon and coconut. This was a light, healthy breakfast and Xena kind of wolfed it down, such finesse.
Batting Xena’s hands off my Tuna Patty proved useless so we shared the patty. Lots of big flavours going on with the house made chutney and the salad dressing and they had wilted the Spinach which was a great touch. Definitely a dish we would both eat again but possibly next time with Xena left at home.
So many health food cafes springing up around Perth and the new Clean Eating Cafes are pretty awesome as well.
