Ramen Samurai, Units 3 & 4, 902 Albany Highway, East Victoria Park, Phone 6150 1827.
The High Art of Ramen … In Japan, Ramen is not fast food. And, Ramen Samurai understand what it takes to build this dish from scratch. The house made al dente noodles kick this soup up a level.
These guys definitely understand how to treat their ingredients. In the case of the cabbage, I was able to peel the perfectly cooked layers off one by one. Enjoyed eating those leaves immensely.
The Vegetarian Miso Ramen came with an egg, pickles, nori, corn and bamboo shoots. And, oh my, that broth. What is it about Miso, it’s so addictive.
Ramen Samurai sits in a beautiful venue, styled in the way a traditional Ramen House would look in Japan.
The Samurai mural, which covers one wall, completely kicks the decor up a notch.
The venue is fully licensed, even to the point where they have sparkling Sake, now there’s something I will return to try sometime.
Staff were great and the food was fabulous. Loved the venue and the experience of a new and different bowl of Ramen.
