Everybody’s Looking For Something … And I found that even in Japan, dessert cafes are a thing. Xena has a keen eye for tracking down treats to quell her sweet tooth.

So, we trekked and found three delicious places to eat some sweet.

Cocarde La Terrasse, Japan, 534-0024 Osaka Prefecture, Osaka, Japan.

Xena literally dragged me into this café but they had coffee, so that was okay. We ordered java and Xena added a Chiffon cake but for me the $3 egg and toast breakfast was the winner.

So, the sponge cake was decorated with cream and fruit and it was fabulous. Of course, I had to taste it, who wouldn’t.

After paying for our breakfast, we noticed the display cabinet which was full of dazzling desserts. Next time.

Pink Berry, The Park Front Hotel, Universal Studios, Osaka, Japan.

So, as Xena has never been one to pass up a Froyo we headed straight for Pink Berry.

The Yoghurt was delightful and there were free toppings of chocolate sauce and fruit. Yum.

And, we were treated to a fabulous view just outside.

Cake To You … La La La Mont Blanc, The Ritz Carlton, Osaka, Japan.

I just love the name of this café, it’s young, quirky and just plain fun! Xena was drawn to this place by the pictures of desserts outside.

It was obvious to me that the marshmallow pudding a la carte with a toasted marshmallow was going to be ordered.

Wow, this treat tasted even better than it looked as this sweetie had layers of chestnut puree and mascarpone cheese. Yum.
