So, Hum A Merry Tune … Huxtaburgians seem to be happy people, as they whistle while they work. I arrived early and had the place to myself which gave me a chance to have a good look around. And, to scout the menu.
So loved the sound of the sangers and the descriptions of the various burgers but it did make it hard to choose. Saying that, as a Rachel fan it became easy to pick my Friend Rachel. The burger was enormous and the grilled chicken was adorned with Jalapeños, Sriracha mayonnaise, cheese and yummy iceberg lettuce and tomato.
The bread roll was very pleasant and also quite large but it did make it hard to eat. As discussed earlier, I am the most awkward person you will meet and eating this burger proved to be both scrumptious and embarrassing. But worth the effort because of the deliciousness.
So, Huxtaburger was born and bred in Melbourne and embraced by all the cool kids around town. I can see exactly why the food became so popular so quickly. And, it’s because a lot of love has gone into the assembly and creative touches which make these stand out amongst the crowded artisan burger scene.
