The Night Is Going To Fall … Was really excited to hear about La Vida Urbana’s Torta lunch time special. They offer either pulled pork or chicken schnitzel and for $12 I do believe it is a complete bargain.
The torta is the white bread roll that comes wrapped around the other ingredients. And the list of ingredients is long let me tell you but I’m not going to list them all. But guacamole and refried beans make an appearance.
The meal came with pickled vegetables and a small side order of potato wedges. The result was one enormous plate of food.
I love this venue so much, it has great atmosphere and the food is top notch. Also, I did notice that they are doing tequila flights, i.e. five nips for $35 or less in some cases. Unfortunately, I had to drive so the tequila idea didn’t eventuate for me.
My torta will be remembered for quite a while it was absolutely delicious and a memorable meal. And one that I will return to eat at any given opportunity.
