Delicious Treats … Our first visit to Francois was a successful venture. The cafe is tucked away in the space that was used for the Leederville Farmers Market. The actual entrance is in the carpark opposite Duende.

Chilli Chicken Balls … Have been meaning to try the Meatball Bar Leederville for a long time now. And, we finally got there today. Sometimes there is so much to choose from in Leederville that you just can’t see the Forest for the Trees. So, keeping our heads down, we marched straight to the cafe. Avoiding eye contact and the temptation of signs and menus along the way.

Salads and Raw Desserts … Tom’s Cafe is located in Tip Top Arcade on Oxford Street. Having walked through this arcade on every visit to Leederville I had never stopped to try the food. Today was different.

Gyoza … Finally tried Tsuke Ba’s gyoza, after walking past the shop for months and never stopping. Picked up a pack of 4 seafood gyoza (dumplings) to take home and was impressed with the $4.50 price tag. The dumplings contained mashed prawns, water chestnuts and fresh herbs with a distinct garlicky taste and a dipping sauce. They were light and very fresh tasting.

Frothy Foamy Cappuccinos … Must admit that Foam Coffee Bar is the place I head to for coffee in Leederville. Haven’t had a bad brew from here ever. The cappuccino is all foamy and the crema gives it a darker swirl. Their espresso is always a favourite of mine as well.

Gourmet Treats … The Checkout is a section of IGA in Leederville. It is a place to go for take home meals. Loads of quality meals ready to eat after a few minutes in the microwave. Think fresh Penne with a Tomato and Pesto Sauce with a few Kalamata Olives scattered around.

Bagels and Raw Desserts … Reading the reviews for Market Juicery you would assume that juices are the big thing. Well, they are but there is also the food, and there’s a lot to choose from.

Revisit … Hadn’t been to the Oxford Hotel for a while, so a group of us descended on the place. We opted to sit inside in the air conditioning, which proved a wise choice on a hot Perth day.

Italian Chocolates … Unlike it’s sister store in Leederville, the Re Store Northbridge does not sell wine or spirits. But it has a very attractive outdoor dining area, right on Lake Street. Where they fit right in with the other cafes on the strip.
