Posh Nosh … It’s All About That Food. Tiisch in the CBD has only been open a few months. It’s a delightful Café on Milligan Street, and close to Cloisters Square, with lots of greenery and crisp pastel colours. Their signature pale Blue is on everything.

A Taste of Honey … Honey Crème chose Perth as the first venue for their World famous Korean Soft Serve. Made with fresh local Milk and Organic local Honey this taste combination is sensational.

A Little Space … Crib Lane is an uber trendy café in the CBD. I’ve walked past it many times and admired the “look” from the outside. So today it was time to step inside.

A Cluster at Cloisters … Ivy League is the latest addition to Cloisters Square in the CBD. It was never really a foodie haven but now there is a distinct cluster of cafes and lunch spots to choose from. Three of my favourite Coffee Bars lurk together in and around this small Square.

Tuck Shop Lunch … Long Chim and Chef David Thompson burst onto the scene late last year. And, the awards started rolling in shortly afterwards. The focus of the Restaurant is Thai Street Food. Long Chim means “to come sample and taste”. And, after finding out that they had opened a Tuck Shop offering lunch specials, I made my way to the City.

Spectacular Views … Henry’s Rooftop Bar is on the top floor of the Reveley complex in Elizabeth Quay. The three level complex has a café at ground level, a sophisticated restaurant in the middle and a funky rooftop bar which serves Bar Food. Oh, and that view is to die for. From Elizabeth Quay, through South Perth, through Kings Park and the Perth CBD. Wowsa.

Flamboyant Confidence … The meaning of the word Panache. And, I would suggest Panache Café has that in spades. They are the first café I’ve walked into that has smashed avocado, with a poached egg on top, in the display case for $8.50. Outstanding.

3,212 feet … The lofty heights of Angel Falls, the world’s tallest waterfall. But the falls aren’t the only fascinating thing to come out of Venezuela. Food like Arepas, Cachapas and Empanadas spring to mind immediately. When we heard that Angel Falls Grill had opened in Shafto Lane, off we went.

Save Me From Myself … Looking for Lunch in the CBD. Wandering around ENEX100 and nothing appealed. Noticed a really long line of people and, out of curiosity, joined the queue. Welcome to lunch time’s hidden haunt. Pizza by the Slice and some authentic home cooked Pasta at Delisio Pizza Romana.

Upstairs Downstairs … UPSTAIRS. Love Brookfield Place in the CBD and decided to have a coffee in the Foyer of the BHP Billiton Building. The coffee was stamped with a Small Print logo and that was most noteworthy because that venue is in the Basement downstairs.
