Margherita Pizza … Visited the Inglewood On Beaufort Night Markets, which is on Monday Nights during the season. And, we couldn’t go past Porta Pizza because the smell of the pizzas cooking was enough to tempt us.

A mixed bag … Monte Fiore Café is housed in a great old building on Beaufort Street. It has wooden floors, a large wall of folding doors to bring the outside in and a large Bar. We’ve eaten there a couple of times now. The first when it wasn’t busy at all and it was quite a good experience with food, atmosphere and service being spot on. However, this last experience was a little too much to bear.

Exploring Our History … Sundays are days where I like to take a drive. And end up somewhere like the Mundaring Weir Hotel. Not really for the food but to soak in the nostalgia of the area or the building we are visiting. Toodyay is a place that is ripe with old buildings and we visit often. They also have a nice café culture going on. York is another place steeped in history. But today it’s back to Mundaring. And, those wood fired pizzas.

Great pizza … Sorrento Restaurant fronts onto James Street and has it’s own pavement seating area. Northbridge is a bustling place and it’s nice to watch the World go by from a pavement table.

Undecided … Mia Cucina Café sits right on the waterfront (like Eva Marie Saint) of Hillarys Boat Harbour. During the day the views would be enviable, looking over the calm waters of the Harbour to the waves of Hillarys Beach.
