Today Is Gonna Be The Day … I eat at Lot Six Zero a lot and have to admit that they do a Stirling job of getting meals to the table in a timely fashion.
This meal was no exception. I ordered a simple two poached eggs with hollandaise sauce. It came with two crispy sourdough slices of toast and a side of rocket. I fell in love with their hollandaise and couldn’t get enough of it. The eggs were cooked perfectly all whites were firm and the yolks were a brilliant yellow. Yum.
I also like their banana bread which comes with a dash of honey and dusted with icing sugar. This is a filling breakfast for anyone who doesn’t like huge meals.
But it’s their coffee which is the stand out. A super large but very elegant machine pumps out the java at a rate of knots. And seeing as I will have a coffee there most mornings, it’s easy to say that I haven’t had a bad coffee there ever.
