Sundae Ruddy Sundae … Kuld Creamery opened last December. Their ice cream is hand crafted and the ingredients are locally sourced. The day I was there the flavour combinations were fabulous.

It’s a Bar, It’s a Restaurant, It’s Gorgeous … It’s about time. Shunking Restaurant opened it’s doors this week at 1002 Beaufort Street in Bedford. This Asian Restaurant is absolutely beautiful, minimalist and the food is marvellous.

Not Just Another Drop In The Ocean … Moana Coffee is hidden away upstairs in the Hay Street Mall and housed in a Heritage Listed building which is just gorgeous.

Avenues All Lined With Trees … Little Bird Café is in a lush part of Northbridge. Lake Street boasts some great foliage and bendy roads to stop speeding. I’d heard good things about Little Bird Burgers, so off we went.

Time Is Fleeting … Spritz Spizzicheria Italiana and their dessert café Affogato Gelateria kind of dominate the Mount Hawthorn café strip. They sit side by side and make a nice looking couple.

Kefalograviera … Try saying that three times quickly. The big K is a hard table cheese made with either Goat or Sheep’s milk. It was new to me and the stand out ingredient in my rather cluttered plate of food from Fez Café.

Seek The Unique … California Pizza Kitchen, or CPK, opened in September at the Hillarys Boat Harbour complex. It fills the space formerly occupied for 23 years by Jetty’s Restaurant.

Blue Cheese Baby … Park And Vine sits happily on the edge of a Park at Empire Village in City Beach. I’d read that The Standard’s Sous Chef Daniel Campbell had taken over the Kitchen, so I was very interested in this foodie destination.
