Good Fortune Was Mine … More excitement for me at Coventry Village Markets. The original Chinese stall near the cupcake stall has closed and in it’s place is a Chinese Roasting House called Duck Duck BBQ House.

It’s Not My Birthday … But it certainly felt like it. Was wandering around Coventry Village Markets when I stumbled across Master Chang’s Bakery. I had to blink a couple of times because I thought I was dreaming.

The Spice Exists on Only One Planet in the Universe … Phew, lucky we don’t live in that Universe. Dune quotes aside, spice is life for me. And, Laksa fulfils that need you sometimes get for a really big spicy soup. Laksa originated in Penang, the broth’s main ingredients are the pod like fruit tamarind and coconut.

Chinese Food 6 … Do you believe there is a Hong Kong BBQ and Dim Sum place in Morley? Well, I didn’t either. Canton Seafood Restaurant is located in the Coventry Village Markets. It seems they have escaped my attention since April 2015. Yeesh.

Bosnian Delights … Coventry Village Markets in Morley are enjoying a renaissance. Food wise that is. We’ve had to say goodbye to a few cafes. But lately I’ve discovered a few venues that are new to me. Not exactly sure how I could have missed them. So excited to write this review.

Déjà vu … As a venue Flamed Burgers is huge. The indoor area is big enough but then you walk outside and it’s like an arena. A funky arena. It’s a hot day and I see a water misting machine. We decide to sit outside and be mistified. See what I did there.

Great Atmosphere … Two40Three Bar and Grill is one of those places that makes you want to go in when you walk past. It is always busy and people look like they’re having fun. So, this time, instead of walking past, in we went.
