Small Plates … Always up for a place that serves small plates of delicious food. And, Bread in Common is one of those places. We were reminiscing about our childhood and decided catching the train to Fremantle would be a great way to do “brunch” in the Old Port Town.

Burgers on the Beach … Stumbled across Grill’d Scarborough, didn’t even know Grill’d had a cafe there. Great location, right on the beach, with loads of parking around.

Wood Fired Pizza … On a lazy Sunday afternoon in Fremantle walking along the cafe strip we discovered Sandrino Cafe Pizzeria. Actually, it was the pizza that two young ladies were sharing in the outdoor area that caught our eye. That pizza lured us into the cafe.

A Return Visit … Finally ventured back to A Fish Called Inglewood to try their dine-in experience. We were not disappointed.

Favourite … Slipped into Sayers in Leederville for brunch. Have been a couple of times now and have never been disappointed with the food.

Avocado and Feta Smash … Everything about this plate of food was average. The bread was super white turkish bread without the usual chewy texture. The avocado was smeared over the entire slice of bread but not too thickly. The feta had been mixed in with the avocado and visually looked a little off. There was also a bunch of greens sitting on top. Oh, and it was extra for the egg.

Chilli Frijole …Visited a friend at Curtin University and took the opportunity to look over Park’d. This is where all the Food Trucks and Vans hang out to feed students and staff, and stray visitors.
