The Maker Movement, 58 Angove Street, North Perth, Phone 9227 7585.
Brain Activity … A new concept Café in North Perth. The Maker Movement is a platform for creative individuals who share a mindset for learning new skills through short courses and workshops. Oh, and a passion for drinking Toby Estate coffee.
The Pasta Or Pizza Dilemma … So excited to finally get to dine at Pappagallo in Leederville. It’s a Cafe with very good word of mouth and according to Google Pappagallo means Parrot, which is a little quirky. Love it.
Wassup Dog, 113 Royal Street, East Perth WA 6004, Phone 92215436.
Stationary Dog … Street vendor Wassup Dog has a new Café in East Perth. Spotted them a couple of months ago now and decided it was time to stage a visit. They still have their travelling Carts, so look out for them at Food Markets.
Tbsp., 10 King William Street, Bayswater WA 6053, Phone 9371 9334.
A Different Perspective … Dined at Tablespoon or Tbsp. in April but didn’t delve into the Asian fusion side of the menu at all. The first visit had been to try the Kale Feta Scrambled eggs. This time Xena and I went along with our mind set on looking at Tbsp. from a different angle.
Flamboyant Confidence … The meaning of the word Panache. And, I would suggest Panache Café has that in spades. They are the first café I’ve walked into that has smashed avocado, with a poached egg on top, in the display case for $8.50. Outstanding.
Hangout On 20 Preston, 20 Preston Street, Como WA 6152, Phone 9474 1914.
Is Preston St the New Orange? … Pretty sure the last time I was in Como there wasn’t really a Strip. But on my way from the car to Hangout on 20 Preston I counted a good 7 or 8 Cafes. Also, there are a couple of High Rise Apartment Buildings going up nearby, so I imagine that will attract even more Cafes.
