The Real Thing … The Precinct Revisit. Which is something that should have happened ages ago but here we are, let the rectification begin.
The venue looks amazing and they’ve added quite a few very interesting murals to the walls, even QE II gets a look in.
My introduction to the staff was a smiling young woman asking me if I’d ordered coffee yet, while placing water and the menu in front of me. In other words, hello and welcome to great service.
Excellent choices for brunch on the menu but I needed something light, so opted for Eggs on Sourdough with a side of mushrooms.
The food was well presented and I decided quite quickly that this was a memorable meal.
Everything was so good, the sous vide eggs were cooked through and those dark yellow yolks, oh my.
The mushrooms were well seasoned, while still being nice and chewy. The bread was high quality and very enjoyable.
So, The Precinct has a lot going for it, food, staff and atmosphere, a triple threat. It’s the real thing.
All I know is, next visit I will be eating those pancakes, no question about it.
